OUR RESPONSIBILITY BEFORE GOD TO DEFEND THE POOR(Psalm 82:3-4)
Isaiah 58:7 tells us that the fast GOD has chosen is to share your food with the hungry, to provide the poor wanderer with shelter, and to clothe the naked. A blessing is attached to doing these good deeds in verse 11 of Isaiah 58 including that GOD will satisfy your needs and strengthen your frame. I encourage you to read this chapter of Isaiah, and devote your life to defending and helping the homeless and those in need for the sake of CHRIST. The 25th article of the Universal Declaration of Human rights written by the U.N tells us that housing is a right for all. Though this is true, many of the homeless are often jailed just for sleeping outside, as I often have been as part of my activism work on behalf of the poor. Jeremiah 22:16 tells us that Defending the cause of the poor and needy is what it truly means to know GOD. I do hope you will join us in this righteous cause! Please pray GOD helps us be effective in this high calling so that housing will be freely provided for all, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.
